Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Welcome to Nivora. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or API services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Accounts and Security
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (including passwords and mobile security PINs) and for all activities under your account.
2. Your Data and Ownership
You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all financial data, transactions, ledger records, notes, attachments, and personal information you enter into Nivora. We do not claim ownership of any content you upload.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to misuse Nivora. Prohibited activities include attempting to breach system security, reverse-engineering the services, transmitting malicious software, scraping data without authorization, or engaging in fraudulent financial operations.
4. Service Availability and Backups
While we strive for high uptime and robust data persistence, Nivora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We encourage you to use our built-in backup and data export tools regularly to maintain independent copies of your financial records.
5. Freemium Quotas and Subscriptions
Nivora offers both free and premium tiers. Free accounts are subject to fair-use usage quotas (e.g. transaction counts, storage volume). Upgraded features or higher tier limits may be subject to additional terms when enabled.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nivora provides organizational and bookkeeping software tools and does not provide certified financial, legal, or tax advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nivora and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
